Monitoring A Game

Once you start a game, the game configuration panel will automatically switch to the game monitor panel. On the monitor panel, you will see the time left in the game, the number of groups started and finished, as well as individual group information. Below is an example of the monitor panel.

You can click on the Details link to see specific details about the game, such as available student moves. If you are concerned that a group is stuck, clicking on the details will show which student is holding up the group.

All of our games prompt participants to submit their ‘moves’ and the consequence of inaction may vary from game to game. Inaction in an auction or market game will have little to no effect on the game, while a missed turn could be seen as forfeit in matrix or bargaining games.

You can also click on the number of students in the group to see the students in those groups.
