MobLab and MindTap - Asynchronous

With the MobLab-MindTap integration, it is easy to run games and lesson modules in your online classes with students participating remotely or asynchronously. Let’s see how!

For asynchronous courses, you can use MobLab's Online Assignment Feature.

Step-by-Step Guide

MobLab Instructor Console

Select the activity on the left-hand panel to make any configuration changes.

Select the Globe Icon to set your availability.

The Globe Icon will be circulating when the activity is running.

All Play Only Robots - Most asynchronous games are best played by grouping students with robotic players. This means they can get instant feedback about the game results. The "Each Player Will Play Against Robots Only" checkbox in the game configuration will be automatically selected for all asynchronous activities. In a handful of games and surveys where students play individually, it's not necessary to match students with robots.

Student View

Students will see the activities available on their student console.

They can select View Activities or Join to start their assignment.
